William (Bill) Holmes has 15 years of experience in public accounting and private industry. He has been a senior accountant for an international accounting firm in Portland, Oregon, and a corporate controller and principal accounting officer for a publicly traded manufacturing, technology, and distribution conglomerate with operations across seven U.S. states and in Asia.

Mr. Holmes’ primary industry experiences include manufacturing and distribution, software and technology, airlines, transportation, food processing, professional services, construction, retail, publishing, and music and entertainment.

Mr. Holmes’ past project experiences include all aspects of internal and external financial reporting, litigation support, cost accounting, mergers and acquisitions, budgeting and forecasting, corporate and individual tax planning, bank and corporate insurance administration and investor/public relations functions.

Mr. Holmes has worked with start-up, rapidly growing and troubled companies, organizational management restructuring, ISO/QS-9000 certification, European sales administration, initial and secondary public offerings, private placements of debt/equity, ESOPs, and corporate ownership transition, including family-owned business planning.

Mr. Holmes has served as plaintiff and defense counsel consultant and subject matter expert in complex litigation cases involving securities lawsuits, fraud and embezzlement, criminal defense matters, commercial litigation, claims against accountants and divorce issues.

Mr. Holmes’ public company and SEC experience includes presentations and corporate representation to Wall Street analysts and development/execution of investor relations strategic plans, preparation and review of Form 10-Ks, 10-Qs, 8-Ks, initial and secondary offering documents, and management of related SEC audit inquiries.

Mr. Holmes is a member of the Oregon Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He has held senior leadership positions in the Rotary Youth Leadership Program and is an active member in his church.

Mr. Holmes holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Oregon State University where he graduated with honors. He is a native Oregonian and lives with his wife and three daughters in the Portland area.
