Staff Audit Professional
Holmes & Company, LLP is seeking
a Staff Professional to exceed industry standards
for audit and accounting work and to manifest
impeccable support for the firm’s partners.
Responsibilities include: Partial responsibility
for audit, review and compilation engagements,
including development of work plans. Partnering
with Audit Manager and consulting with clients
related to issue identification, problem solving,
and integration of value-added accounting solutions.
May be asked to participate on special project
teams related to mergers and acquisitions,
multi-state issues, controllership and CFO
issues, along with other compelling projects.
Duties may also include preparation of individual
and simple corporate income tax returns.
Education and Experience Requirements: College
degree in accounting required with minimum
1-3 years experience in public accounting (audit
experience required). CPA (or CPA candidate)
required. Working knowledge of financial statement
audits and other accounting engagements. Computer
literacy and intermediate-level proficiency
with Outlook, Word, and Excel required. Must
possess a valid driver's license.
